The Club Act offers an alluring evening of Jazz Dance and Music unlike anything you've seen before. The act explores the historical and cultural roots and evolution of Jazz Dance through the lens of one of its most formidable pioneers, Jack Cole. Reflective of Cole’s original nightclub act, the show transports the viewer to a scintillating 1930s Jazz club, and offers an immersive dive into various dynamic and thrilling Jazz and Theater Dance pieces choreographed in the style of Cole’s Broadway, Film, and Nightclub work.

Nearly a hundred years ago, dance innovator Jack Cole dazzled New York and Chicago’s nightclub scene with a new, titillating style of entertainment. Cole’s unique fusion of world dance styles and Jazz music paved the way for much of the popular Jazz and Theater dance today, including the work of  iconic legends Bob Fosse and Jerome Robbins. A century later, Cole’s spirit is coming  to life once again; choreographer Cam Loeser’s company, The NEW Jack Cole Dancers, brings work in the style of Cole’s original Club Act back to Manhattan’s nightlife.
